Year 9 Scores Touchdown at NFL Youth Camp!
On the 4th of July, Year 9 had an unforgettable experience attending the NFL Youth Camp in London, hosted by none other than Jermaine Eluemunor, the New York Giants offensive tackle!  Eluemunor, a seasoned NFL veteran who has also played for the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens, shared his knowledge and passion for the game with our eager young athletes.
The boys truly impressed throughout the day. They displayed excellent sportsmanship and a commendable work ethic both on and off the field. The camp offered a fantastic opportunity for them to be introduced to different aspects of American Football. Through a series of drills, they gained exposure to various positions, like quarterback, wide receiver, and linebacker. This well-rounded approach allowed them to discover their potential strengths and develop a deeper understanding of the game’s complexities.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the thrilling flag football tournament. The boys channeled their newfound skills and teamwork into some competitive matches, showcasing their athleticism and strategic thinking. The positive and encouraging atmosphere no doubt fueled their spirits on the field.
Overall, the NFL Youth Camp proved to be a resounding success for Year 9. They not only learned valuable football skills but also gained a deeper appreciation for sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication.  Sincere thanks to Ms Connors and Mr Robinson for supporting the teams from the sidelines. This experience will undoubtedly leave a lasting impressionfor all and inspire them to continue their sporting  journeys!
