Summer School

Introduction

Salvatorian College’s Summer School is an exciting and engaging opportunity for students to transition smoothly into secondary school life. Through a mix of academic lessons, creative activities, sports, and team-building exercises, students will gain confidence, make new friends, and become familiar with their new school environment. The week concludes with an awards ceremony and a trip to BigShots Golf, making it a rewarding experience for all participants.

Food Arrangements

Students can bring a packed lunch or opt for catering (£15 for the week).

Example menu:

  • Monday: Tomato Pasta & Cheese
  • Tuesday: Hotdogs
  • Wednesday: Tomato Pasta & Cheese
  • Thursday: Whole School BBQ
  • Friday: Food platters at BigShots Golf
  • Morning Snack: Free toast available each day
  • Breaktime: Complimentary crisps & chocolates provided

Expectations & Behaviour Policy

We expect all students to:
✔ Be punctual and attend every day.
✔ Participate fully in activities and lessons.
✔ Demonstrate respectful and positive behaviour.
Mobile Phones: Must remain out of sight and unused during the school day. Misuse may result in confiscation until the end of the week.
Behaviour Policy: Repeated poor behaviour may result in removal from summer school.
